CONFIDENCE IN MR J. A. LEE
LARGELY-ATTENDED MEETING j (By Telegraph.—special to Times) AUCKLAND, Thursday j Mr J. A. Lee. M.P. for Grey Lynn, i was given an enthusiastic reception : by 1800 people at a meeting in the : Town Hall last night, called by the ; Democratic Labour Party. Mr Lee said there were 40 branches of the party formed and 30 in the process j of formation. A vote of thanks and j confidence was carried at the con- 1 elusion of his address, with only one j or two dissentient voices.
