REPRESENTATIVE APPEAL
MANY CHURCHES ASSIST FUNDS FOU ORPHANAGES A street appeal will be conducted in Hamilton on Friday to raise funds for the orphanages in the Auckland Province. The organiser of the collection is Mrs H.. Ross. As the war has caused the orphanages to suffer considerably whe re flunds are concerned, it is felt that the public will respond generously Do this appeal. The following' organisations will take part in the appeaL, which will commence at 8 /a.m. and close at ' Q p.m.:—St. Pete.r’s Ladies (Post Oirice), St. Mary’s Ladies (Bank of Zealand), C’.’lurch, of Christ Ladieri (Waikato Times), Sunshine League Ladies (Commercial Hotel), Salvation' Army Lsidies (Garden Place), Aidan’s Ladies (Ward Street), SL Andrew’s 'Presbyterian Ladies (Railway Biidije), Baptist Ladies (Bryco Street St. Paul’s Methodist Laidies (London Street), St. George’s Ladies (Fr.inkton).
