A resolution was y y expressing the opinion that a ring bonus should have been granted to all civil servants at a flat late of £l3 per annum, irrespective oi salary.
New Office Hours A change was made as from August 19.. altering the hours of duty for Government offices in Auckland and Wellington to 25 minutes earlier, the new hours being 8 a.m. to 4.35 p.m. The primary reason for this change was to alleviate the congestion on trams and road services during the rush hours, especially at 5 p.m. The alteration has now been ex /ended to all Government offices throughout the Dominion, and took effect fmm last Monday.
