MAN FROM WAIOURU GAOL FOR BEHAVIOUR (By Telegraph.—special to Times) TAIHAPE, Monday A sentence of three months’ imprisonment was imposed on James William Hurst, of Waiouru military camp, who appeared in the Taihape Police Court before justices for resisting and obstructing the police and using obscene language. There were in all five charges. Evidence was given that accused tried to rescue a mate from the police and violently resisted when he himself was arrested. On the train he kicked a constable on the leg and struck him in the face. Accused used obscene language when being taken to the police station. Sergeant Mcßae said that accused had caused a lot of trouble at the camp, and his officers did not have a good word to say lor him.
