DISCHARGE OF GUN
BOY’S DEATH NEAR KAWHIA (Special to Times) KAWHIA, Monday An inquest was opened at Kinohaku today, before Mr G. G. Jonathan, coroner, into the death oi Douglas Schultz, aged 14, who died at Kinohaku yesterday as a result oi a gunshot wound in the back. Evidence was given by William Turner, a cousin of the dead boy, that he was handling a small calibre shotgun which he did not know was loaded. It accidentally discharged and the contents oi the charge struck Schultz. The inquest was adjourned.
