POSTPONEMENT UNLIKELY OPINION OF MR HAMILTON (By Telegraph.— Press Association) DUNEDIN, Tuesday “There is no basis for supposing that an election will not be held next year,” said the Hon. Adam Hamilton, Leader of the Opposition, who is going to Wellington today.
“Elections have already been held in Canada and Australia, which are at war just as we are,” Mr Hamilton added. “Nothing has occurred to give rise to the supposition that the elections will not be held.”
