CHAMPIONSHIP FINALS The Mataata Golf Club's championships were completed during the week-end, the winners In the respective grades being: Seniors, H. Ford; intermediate, D. Townsend; junior, R. Paton. Following are details: semi-finals.—Seniors: Ford beat Loveridge. 3—i; I.ittle beat Irvine, 7—6. Intermediate: Townsend beat Fulton, 4—3; Buckley beat Main. 3—2. Juniors: Sharp beat Wright. 1 up; Paton beat Hughes at the 20th. Final*.—Seniors: H. Ford beat L. H. Little, 6—4. Intermediate: D. Townsend beat 11. Buckley, 14—13. Juniors: R. Paton beat J. Sharp, 9—B. In the final Tor the vice-captatn’s trophy, D. B. Abernethy beat G. Fitzgerald, 6—5.
