KAIPAKI FUNCTION

ODDFELLOWS MEET There was a good attendance of officers and members at the monthly meeting of the Kaipaki branch of the Manchester United Order ‘of Oddfellows recently, the meeting being held in the Kaipaki Hall. The N.G., Bro. L. Harvey, presided and welcomed visitors from other lodges. After the meeting, the members adjourned to the larger hall, when a most enjoyable evening was provided by the brothers of the Kaipaki branch, to which friends of the members were welcomed. About 80 assembled and joined in the dancing and games which had been arranged. Music for dancing was kindly supplied by several members. Novelty dances were won by Mr Thomas and Miss Alderwick, and Mr Thomas and Miss Joy Hall. Supper was served by the members of the social committee.
