GAY GARDENS
TREASURES Though diamonds and rubies Are exceeding rich and rare, Yet 1 still crave the loveliness Of the bracing country air. Though turquoises and sapphires shine With a myriad of hues, Yet / admire the bounding sea With its drifts of changing blues. So though I have no emeralds, No costly pearls are mine, 1 still have all the treasures That abound in Nature's shrine.
