William Lints Revue in Christchurch “Britannia,” a spectacular revue in which 500 people appear, will open at Christchurch tonight. The main features include 26 song hits, eight distinctive ballets, 12 short and amusing sketches, and specialty numbers. Brilliant scenes include the opening scene, “Britannia.” the final scene, the night club scene, and the presentation of “There'll Always be an England,” again with the “Britannia” setting. Each of these scenes includes 200 performers. “Britannia” is being produced under the direction of Mr W. Lints, who during the last 20 years in New Zealand has staged 673 performances, including several productions in Hamilton. The revue has been promoted by the Christchurch Returned Soldiers’ Association to augment its fund for the assistance of men in the war on their return to New Zealand.
