AHUWHENUA CUP
PRESENTATION CEREMONY (By Telegraph.—Special to Times) WHAKATANE. Friday There was a large gathering of Maoris at the Kokohinau pa. Te Teko, yesterday for the presentation to Mrs Taitai Hall of the Ahuwhenua Cup. the trophy presented by Lord Bledisloe for annual competition* among the Maori farmers of the Dominion. Sir Apirana Ngata. M.P.. who presented the cup, congratulated Mrs Hall. The chiefs -of many tribes addressed the gathering.
