ACCIDENT WITH TRACTOR DAY AFTER WIFE’S DEATH (By Telegraph.—Special to Times) TAIHAPE, Friday Severe injuries were suffered by Mr Len Collinson, farm manager for Mr C. B. Heat ley at the Blackhill Station, near Taihape, when his leg was jamnjed in a tractor. Amputation of the limb was necessary. Mr Collinson was driving a tractor to which harrows were attached when a chain from the harrows caught against his foot, which was badly crushed.

Mr Collinson a returned soldier. His wife died yesterday from pneumonia.
