Copyright) NEW YORK, Sept. 20 The Washington journalists Messrs Pearson and Allen, who write a daily column with a huge circulation, say that President Roosevelt is expected to approve the sale to Britain of 30 8000 to 10,000-ton freighters, which are tied up in Virginia. •The cost is stated to be 8,000,000 dollars, plus 5,000,000 dollars for repairs.
