OFFICERS POSTED
UNITS FOR HOPU HOFU Officers’ appointments have been made to military units that will shortly go into camp at Hopu Hopu. Lieutenant-Colonel J. B. Mawson, M.C., has been posted to the command of the 20th Infantry Battalion, Major F. W. Voelcker, M.C., and Lieutenant S. S. Pennefather, M.C., D.C.M., go to the same battalion, Captain S. C. Reid, M.C., formerly camp commandant at Hopu Hopu, is to be quartermaster of the 29th Infantry Battalion, and Captain F. M. Price has also been posted to this battalion. Captain A. Craig has been posted to the 4th (Composite) Company, New Zealand Army Service Corps, one of the Fourth Reinforcements units to go to Papakura camp. PAY AND RECORDS With the rank of honorary lieutenants in the New Zealand Pay Corps, Messrs A. W. C. Gorrie, C. B. Macdonald and C. R. Ruscoe have been appointed to the pay and records staff at Hopu Hopu military camp. Messrs Gorrie and Ruscoe have been posted as assistant paymasters and Mr Macdonald is Records Officer.
