NARWHAL CONSIDERED LOST (United Press Asn. —Elec. Tel. Copyright) LONDON, Sept. 18 An Admiralty communique states that the submarine Narwhal is over*due and must be considered lost. The submarine Narwhal, a vessel of 1520 tons surface displacement, was completed in 1936 at a cost of £348.000. She was one of six submarines of the Porpoise class, armed with one 4in gun and six torpedo tubes and fitted for use as a minelayer. She carried a normal complement of 55.
