Copyright) LONDON, Sept. 18 A proclamation issued in San Marino has ended the 25 years’ war the tiny republic has waged on paper against Germany. War has now been declared on Britain. The two Captains - Regent, addressing the cheering populace, declared that the army was in splendid fighting trim. It consists of 39 officers and 950 men of the ranks. San Marino, an Italian republic, is the smallest independent State in Europe. It lies among the eastern spurs of the Appenines on the Adriatic Sea. Its area is but 33 square miles and there is a population of 111.000.
