TRADE WITH NEW CALEDONIA (By Telegraph.—Press Association) AUCKLAND, Thursday The possibility of trade between New Caledonia and New Zealand was discussed by the Council of the Auckland Chamber of Commerce. A letter from Noumea stated that it could export to New Zealand coffee, copra, fish, minerals, and other commodities in return for cement and New Zealand primary products. Replying to the council’s inquiries, the Northern Steamship Company and the Union Steamship Company, stated they were unable to provide ships for a service.
