DAIRY AFFAIRS
NORFOLK COMPANY SATISFACTORY PAYOUT The annual meeting of the Norfolk Co-operative Dairy Company was held in the Motumaoho flail yesterday. Mr S. A. Ferguson, chairman of directors presided. The report and balance-sheet were unanimously adopted. Satisfaction was expressed at the payout for the past season and the sound Financial position of the company. A dividend of three per cent, as recommended by the directors was passed for payment. There were no new nominations for the vacancies on the directorate, and Messrs W. F. Stark and C. Iversen were re-elected. Mr R. English was re-appointed auditor. A resolution was passed that the meeting send a remit to the New Zealand Dairy Board conference asking it to make a strong recommendation to the Government that it should make a grant to producers compelled to change over cheese. Votes of thanks to the directors, manager, staff and secretary concluded the meeting.
