Copyright) LONDON, Sept. 18 In a broadcast address from Chungking, Marshal Chaing Kaishek promised that China would deliver Manchukuo from the Japanese yoke. He said the day of reckoning for Japan was near. Chinese casualties totalled 1,500,000. The Marshal added that as soon as \ Japan exhausted her supplies of American petrol and aircraft China would force the enemy to account. The air raids on Chunking had failed to cow the Chinese, who were all the more enraged, undaunted and determined. !
