SPAIN’S POSITION “MOMENTARILY NON-BELLIGERENT” LONDON, Sept. 18 The London Times correspondent on the German frontier says that W. Suner, tho Spanish Minister for the interior who is visiting Germany was interviewed after his talks with Hitler and Ribbentrop and declared “Spam is only momentarily a non-belligerent. General Franco will personally decide when to abandon aloofness.” Germany is making much of M Suner’s visit, which it is declarer coincides with Germany's final settlement with Britain. The Voelkischer Beobachter states that Spain has taken up a position which leaves no doubt as to her foreign aims. ENGLAND AND SPAIN LONDON, Sept. 18 England and Spain have reached an agreement under which Spain will limit her oil imports to a quantity sufficient for her domestic consumption. The agreement is regarded as highly satisfactory. RATIONING IN DENMARK COPENHAGEN, Sept. 18 The radio has announced that a further drastic rationing of food is being introduced in Denmark. GERMAN CLAIMS BERLIN, Sept. 18 The News Agency states that tha Royal Air Force lost 1354 planes in August and 742 in the first fortnight of September. “BRITAIN CANNOT FAIL” PHILADELPHIA, Sept. 18 “I do not believe that the British Empire can fail in its heroic defence.
