ROYAL AIR FORCE J-JOYAL AIR FORCE. RADIO MECHANICS AND OFFICERS. APPLICATIONS, closing noon, SATURDAY. OCTOBER 5, are invited from single men between the ages of 18 and 35 for service in the United Kingdom for the duration of the war in the following vacancies: SKILLED RADIO MECHANICS.— Applicants must possess a P.M.G. Certificate (Ist or 2nd class), or a Broadcast Operator’s or Amateur’s Certificate, or a Public Works Radio Serviceman’s Certificate. Enlistment will be in the rank of Leading Aircraftsman. Whilst in New Zealand, the salary will be £225 p.a., plus quarters and rations. From embarkation, R.A.F. rates of pay will commence. COMMISSIONED OFFICERS.— Applications will also be received from fnen with advanced radio experience and a University science degree or its equivalent. On transfer to the United Kingdom successful applicants will be appointed to the R.A.F. Technical Branch.
