RELIEF OF DISTRESS
LONDON’S BOMBED CIVILIANS (United Press Asn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) (Received Sept. 18, 3.15 p.m.) SYDNEY, Sept. 18 The Commonwealth Government has decided to make a grant of £50,000 for the relief of distress in Britain caused by the bombing of civilians. Sydney’s fund has reached £72,000.
