HOMING PIGEONS
RACE FROM WANGANUI The Hamilton Homing Pigeon Club continued the programme on Saturday with a race from Wanganui, an airline of 150 miles. The birds were liberated by Mr E. Douglas, with weather conditions ideal. Results:— Mr L. Mond’s 8.C., 1327yds. a minute, 1; Mr W. Aitlcen’s 8.C.C., 1326yd5., 2; Mr C. Crabb’s 8.C.H., 1321yd5., 3; Mr L. Grogan’s 8.C.C., 1319yd5., 4. Next week’s race will be flown from Feilding.
