GREATER EAST ASIA NATIONAL STRUCTURE PLANS OF JAPANESE (United Press Asn. — Elec. Tel Copyrlgtit) TOKIO, Sept. 14 The preparatory commission for the establishment of a “new Japanese national structure” has adopted platform regulations aiming at “the construction of a new order in greater East Asia, and further, the establishment of a new world order. The commission will be disbanded next week. The Minister of War, LieutenantGeneral Eiki Tojo, said the Army intended to give wholehearted and positive support to the movement. However, officers and men in the active forces would be prohibited from joining the central directing body. The War Minister and a few others alone would be permitted to take part as advisers, while exservicemen would be encouraged.

RESUMPTION OF TALKS CONDITIONS IN INDO-CHINA (tniieJ Press Asn. — Llec. Tel. copyright) HANOI, Sept. 14 An official communique from Hanoi states that the conversations between the authorities in Indochina and the Japanese delegate, Lieutenant-General Nishihara, have been resumed. The Chinese authorities at Chungking report that French troops repulsed a mixed Japanese artillery and infantry brigade, crossing the frontier of Indo-China last Saturday. They add that while the French were repulsing the Japanese the Chinese attacked the Japanese from the rear. Japanese bombers have demolished the German Embassy at Chungking. There were no casualties.
