SPECIAL FORECAST (By Government Meteorologist) The special forecast by the Government Meteorologist, covering the Walkato-Thames Valley is as follow.?: General situation: A depression is centred over the North Island, while an anti-cyclone extend* from eastern Australia on to the Tasman Sea. Forecast: e-troiig west to south-west wind?; further rain, but conditions Improving, though weather still changeable; temperatures cold; seas moderate on the cast coast, very rough on the west.
