PERFORMERS’ CLUB

LADIES’ NIGHT The Hamilton Performers’ Club held a “Ladies’ Night” on Saturday, when Mr G. Kingston’s studio was filled with a large number of members and visitors. This was the first ladies’ night held by the club, and the excellent programme, arranged and performed by the women members, was highly enjoyable. The following artists contributed: —Vocal solos, Miss Merlyn Hurdegen; tap dances, Miss Patty Blake; elocution, Miss Rosalie Seddon; ballet, Mesdames A. Cope and E. Etheridge and Misses Betty Furby, Iris Aiken, Leonie Swarbrick, Nonna Moreland and Maureen Harder; vocal solos, Mrs W. Whitehead; vocal numbers by “The Hill-billies,” Mesdames A. Cope, W. Whitehead, Misses Leonie Swarbrick, Donagh Baker, Des Liddy and Gwyneth Powell. I Among those present were:—Mesdames W. Whitehead, A. Cope, E. Anderson, E. Etheridge, C. E. Edmunds. | Misses N.
