Reynolds. Hamilton, has returned from a holiday at Mt. Maunganui. * * * * Mrs J. M. Lowe, Nelson, has been visiting her mother, Mrs T. J. Shaw, Hamilton. * * * * Mrs H. G. Ell, Christchurch, is visiting Hamilton as the guest of Mrs W. S. Dingle. Mrs W. H. Jakin, Christchurch, is visiting Hamilton as the guest of her daughter, Mrs St. L. H. Gribben. * * * * Mrs E. M. Masters, Hamilton, is the guest of Mrs C. Masters, Eureka. • * * * Mrs G. R. Bowden, Hamilton, is spending a holiday in Hawera. Mrs L. Bertant, Mt. Maunganui, who has been visiting her mother, Mrs R. P. Hazard, has returned home. ♦ * * * Mrs T. J. Shaw has returned to Hamilton from a visit to Auckland. Mrs E. Wallace, Hamilton, left for Wellington last night, accompanied by her son, Mr N. C. Wallace, Royal New Zealand Air Force, who has been on leave. Mrs F. 9 G. Scccombe, Hamilton, has returned from a visit to Whangarei. * * * * Mrs B. C. Robins, Tauranga, and Miss Ross, Wanganui, are the guests of Mrs T. G. Reynolds, Hamilton. * * * * Miss Mattie Shaw has left for Suva, where she has a Government appointment as sister at the Suva Hospital. * * * * Miss Julie Masters, Hamilton, is visiting Mrs Ernest Masters, Auckland. Miss Sidney Strang has returned from a holiday in Auckland. Miss F. Gee. Auckland, is visiting Mrs W. S. Dingle, Hamilton. The Junior Circle of the Waikato Lyceum Club are holding an entertainment in the lounge on Thursday, September 19, at 8 o’clock in aid of the President’s Emergency Patriotic Fund. They are conducting sales of articles donated by the Circle. The next knitting evening of the Hamilton High School Old Girls’ Association will be held at the residence of Mrs G. E. A. Wilkes, Tainui Street, on Wednesday, September 18. EUREKA Mrs Cresswell and Mrs Young have returned home from a visit to Okete, Raglan. * * * * Miss E. Bradley and Miss L. Thompson, Auckland, are the guests of Mrs C. Masters.
