RED SEA ROUTE
ILLUSTRATION OF SAFETY LARGE FLEETS OF TROOPSHIPS (United Press Asn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) LONDON, Sept. 13 The safety of the Red Sea route, in spite of Italy’s entry into the war, is illustrated in a message from Simla. It states that the route to Egypt has not been affected, and points out that two large fleets of troopships from India had negotiated it without the loss of a single life.
Seventy-one ships in the past year, the message continues, have sailed through the Red Sea without loss.
