HEARING BY THREE JUDGES (By Telejrrnph.—Press Association) CHRISTCHURCH, Friday The appeals of the jockeys, P. Burgess, A. E. Didham, G. R. Tattersall, W. J. Broughton and H. N. Wiggins, against the action of the executive committee of the New Zealand Racing Conference in granting them conditional licenses for three months only at the beginning of the present season, will be heard before three judges appointed by the conference, in Wellington, on September 24. The names of the judges will not be divulged until after the hearing. ROTORUA ARRANGEMENT (By Telegrapn.—special to Times.' ROTORUA, Friday Arrangements have been made between the Rotorua Racing Club and the northern command military authorities, which will obviate the necessity for the Rotorua and Bay ot Plenty Hunt Club finding a new venue for its one-day meeting, to be held on Saturday, October 19. The military authorities, who will be in occupation of the racecourse on that J date and during the whole of October, have agreed to remove equipment from the totalisator house and other buildings for the day, so that the races may proceed.
