LONDON FIREMEN “CARRY ON” AS BOMBS FALL

The London File Brigade lias taken delivery of this new type of dual-purpose fire appliance, in the form of a close-coupled saloon body, fitted with a single compartment cab—three rows of four seats and four half doors—which can accommodate eleven firemen, all under cover. It can carry a 501 t. escape and tw'o hook ladders and includes everything needed to fight a fire, including a 45-gallon water tank and breathing apparatus.
