Restricted Fishing Areas
The restriction of fishing near the Arapuni and Horahora Power Schemes on the Waikato River is an-J nounced by the military authorities. The areas that are to be ctf Jirolled are sign-posted and the restriction will take effect from the opening of the season on October 1. Negligent Driving Charged before Mr S. L. Paterson, S.M., in the Magistrate’s Court, Hamilton, yesterday, with negligent driving in Ward Street on July 27, Walter William Scott was fined £1 and costa. Senior-Sergeant A. G. McHugh said that Scott ran into another car which was backing out from the kerb. Ha later stated that he was looking in another direction and did not see the signal given as the other car started to back.
