POSITION EASING
MEASLES IN CAMPS NO FURTHER CASES TO-DAY 47 MEN STILL IN HOSPITAL No further cases of measles developed in the military camps in the Waikato to-day, but 47 troops are still inmates of the emergency hospital at the Hamilton West School. It is considered, however, that several of the men will be discharged within a day or two. From the Claudelands camp, where the 7th Medium Battery, New Zealand Artillery, is under canvas, only one soldier is in hospital. At Hopu Hopu there have been about five cases of measles, and the remaining troops in hospital are from the isolation camp at the Te Rapa racecourse. The camp is still in isolation. Although there has been an easing in the measles epidemic to-day, it is too early to judge whether it is waning.
