News of Maori Troops

The Chaplain-General to the New Zealand Forces, Bishop Gerrard, refers in a letter to the Bishop of Aotearoa. the Rt. Rev. Tr . A. Bennett, to the splendid impression the Maori Battalion has made in England. Up to August 8. when the last letter was written, there had been no casualties of any sort among the Maoris and there had been no sickness of any consequence since they left New Zealand.
