TRAMPING AND CYCLING
CLUB FORMED IN HAMILTON PHYSICAL WE'LFARE ACTIVITIES Under the auspices or the Waikato Physical Welfare ami Recreation Branch, a Hamilton Tramping and Cycling 'dub was formed this week. There was a keen and enthusiastic attendance of over 3u prospective members. -Viler discussion it was decided to form a combined trampin- and cycling club, in ord<*r to eater for all tastes, and also to use cycling as a means to an end when parties wished to go tramping some miles distant. Various -uggestions W ere made regarding aiieriioon, day, and week-end trips. Miss li. Stephenson, Waikato Recreation Officer, presided over th*- meeting and gave an account of the tw<. hut and track schemes which were being initiated by tin- lieatl office of the Physical Well are Branch, the i.ake Sumner.
