Laughing Fox (Bartles) and Olympus (Ramsay) were associated over haif-a-mile, which they traversed in 56 3*6s. Both are making 'good headway and should not be long in striking form. Gael (Howard) and Tooley Street (McGregor) worked over a round, being timed only over their initial six furlongs which occupied 1.30. A Useful Effort A useful effort was credited to Caine’s Choice (Winder) and Aquila llain), vho arter traversing the first hair-mile in 55 4-ss, ran to the six furlongs Ln 1.25. Gay Rosette, on the outer, and Slegllnde pleased. Royal Jay ran two furlongs along the back ln 29 3-ss. Lornacre (Mclnally) ran to the halxmlle but w r as not timed. Young Paddon (Mclnally) was restricted to strong work over a round, coming home his last six furlongs easily in 1.37 4^t>. He is ln tip-top order for racing ahead. Gold Spot (Brown), Poutama (Long) and Karatokl (Gololpi were in that order at the end or five furlongs ln 1.11 1-5, the nest hair-mlle m r*G l-ss. Gold Spot is bearing a healthy appearance and appears to be on the upgrade. Black Musk (Long; and Raceline (Meynen» were practically abreast well clear or l-orest Acre (Gciiop) at the completion of a round In 2.1.3. Black Musk and Race Hne both shaped well, finishing on solidly over the last furlong.
