Mr D. C. Street, of Hamilton, is visiting Wellington.
Mr H. W. Nixon, of Putaruru, returned from Wellington this morning.
Mr A. H. Ward, a member of the New Zealand Dairy Board, is in Hamilton.
Mr E. J. Phelan, the No. 1 Licensing Authority, was in Hamilton yesterday afternoon. He left later for Auckland.
Mr H. E. Gaze, of Hamilton, was elected patron of the North Island Professional Photographers Association at the annual meeting in Palmerston North this week.
Mr C. B. McNatty, postmaster at Cambridge, who has been transferred to the Hamilton office, is on holiday and will take up his new duties about the first week of October. In the meantime Mr T. Steele, district relieving officer, is acting-postmaster at Cambridge. The new postmaster at Cambridge will be Mr H. Hawke, of Waipawa, and he will commence his duties at Cambridge at the beginning of next month.
