PROVINCIAL GOLF TITLES

MRS P. R. GLANVILLE’S ROUNDS (By Telegraph.—Special to Times) AUCKLAND, Tuesday After an indifferent first round in the qualifying division of the Auckland provincial women’s golf championships, Mrs P. R- Glanville, of Te Awamutu, the title-holder, improved somewhat in the second round and qualified fifth for championship match play. The scoring of all the players was only fair, but conditions militated against firstclass golf. Miss N. Smillie, of Manawatu, with scores of 83, 84—167, qualified first. Mrs Glanville’s rounds were 88, 85— 173.
