LOSS OF LEG
TRAM CONDUCTOR’S CONDITION (By Telegraph.—Special to Times) AUCKLAND, Wednesday Extensive injuries which later necessitated the amputation of one leg were suffered by a tram conductor, Mr Maxwell Arthur Bonnett, aged 25, married, of 21 Rimu Street, New Lynn, when he was crushed between two tramcars outside the Gaunt Street depot shortly after six o’clock yesterday morning. The injured man is in the Auckland Hospital, where his condition last night was reported to be very serious.
