VISIT TO TE RAPA CAMP
HEAD OF MEDICAL SERVICES WELLINGTON, Tuesday The Director-General of Medical Services, Colonel Bowerbank, following his visit to Te Rapa yesterday, said the men isolated there were in good spirits, comfortably quartered and well looked after. He did not know how long they would have to remain.
Speaking of the measles epidemic in camps generally, Colonel Bowerbank said that although it had not yet abated, all new cases were of a mild type. Every precaution was being taken to prevent a further spread.
