NEW IMPORT SCHEDULES
EXPECTED WITHIN FORTNIGHT COVER PERIOD OF YEAR (In- Telegraph.— Press Association) AUCKLAND, Tuesday The schedules of fifth period import licenses are expected to be issued throughout the Dominion within a fortnight, and it is generally expected that the period to be covered will be a year instead of six months. The extension will be welcomed in commercial circles, where greater elasticity is needed, and also in departmental offices, where changes resulting from the war have thrown an added burden on customs officials.
