Rare Sight Today. With New Zealand boasting the second highest number of motor cars per head of population in the world, the sight of a horse and buggy has become rare. The war and petrol restrictions must have “changed all that,” however, as was revealed in Hamilton today by the presence in the main shopping area of a horse and buggy, which was seen in a parking area in Alexandra Street.
