EGYPTIAN TOWN BOMBED SLIGHT DAMAGE CAUSED FRUITLESS RAID ON SUEZ * (Official Wireless) (Received Sept. 7. 3.15 p.m.) RUGBY, Sept. 6 A Cairo Headquarters communique states: Mersa Matruh, in Egypt, was bombed yesterday, slight damage being caused, but there were no casualties.
A few bombs were dropped on Suez. There were no casualties. On the other fronts there is nothing to report.
