PRICES AT WAIHOU The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Company, Ltd., report that at their Walhou stock sale on Thursday a full yarding of all classes of cattle came forward. Values for fat eattio remained on a par with recent sales, whilst yeafling Jersey heirers and empty 2-year-olds were keenly sought at advanced rates. A good yarding of dairy cows and heifers was penned, with bidding very keen from a full bench or buyers, with values fully up to last Walhou sale. An Increased yarding or fat and store pigs came forward, the fat entry consisting mainly of porkers, competition for which was 'Steady with values fully up to recent quotations. In the store section bidding was brisk and a good sale resulted with prices remaining on a par with late rates. Breeding sows were not as keen of sale as previously. Quotations: Sheep.—.
