VIEWS OF FARMERS MOST SUITABLE PERIOD As sheep farmers were busy all the summer, the winter was the best time to release labour, said Mr H. Johnstone, when members were dis.cussing at a meeting yesterday of the Waikato Sub-Provincial Executive of the Farmers’ Union the calling up of men for territorial training. The Minister of Defence had stated that for health reasons the department was opposed to territorial camps in the winter, said the chairman, Mr G. T. Crawley.
