TAUPIRI SUB-BRANCH
There was a good attendance at the meeting of the Taupiri subbranch of the Red Cross Society recently. The president, Mrs D. R. Welch presided, and reported that splendid work was being done by the sewing section of the movement, and the entertainment committee, the weekly card afternoon at the Red Cross room being a great financial success. A vote of thanks was passed to Mrs L. Wilson, Mrs Buss and Mr Chitty for cheques donated to the branch.
