EXEMPTION CLAIMS
GENERAL WAGES ORDER TRAMWAYMEN’S APPLICATION (By Telegraph.—Press Association) AUCKLAND, Friday The Court of Arbitration today made fixtures in connection with application from various employers for exemption from the general order increasing wages by 5 per cent. Included in applications is one dealing with the Auckland tramway employees’ request to be included in the increase. The date for the hearing of this application has been fixed as September 18.
