DOMINION’S SATISFACTION (By Telegraph. —Press Association) WELLINGTON, Thursday “The arrangement is eminently satisfactory and will be beneficial to both countries,” said the Prime Minister, Mr Fraser, when invited this evening to comment on the agreement between Great Britain and the United States for the exchange of destroyers for the use of strategic bases. “Britain is receiving a valuable accession to its naval strength and the United States is getting an effective front line of naval defence. Even- more important than any mutual material advantage is the co-operative spirit that has animated both countries in arriving at this arrangement.”
