GOLDEN WEDDING
MR AND MRS E. J. STEVENSON Two well-known residents of Hamilton East celebrated their golden wedding yesterday. They are Mr and Mrs E. J. Stephenson, of Cook Street. Married by the Rev. C. H. Roberts at Heston-Hounslow, England, on September 4, 1890, they came to New Zealand 25 years ago when Mr Stevenson became the manager of a printing works. On their arrival in Hamilton Mr Stevenson began insurance work. Mr and Mrs Stevenson have one son, one daughter and two grandchildren.
