PROPOSED NEW BUILDINGS (.'Special to Times) TE AROHA, Thursday. V decision to raise the wages of the two school caretakers by 12* per cent from September l was readied at the month]v meeting of the Te Aroha school C'.mmiittce on Tuesday night. it was decided to notify the Education Board of the committee’s decision and suggest that it a*.*i*t them in thdr eeinmi'tniont. Tlie sec ret ar v. Mr B. Ilobson, reported that in regard to the additional da*sroo.ns for the primary department, two proposal* had been forwarded Tor consideration by the Education Department, one for a. three-roomed block and the other for one ..r four rooms. The Department intended to ltnallse negotiations for the purchase or the sections as soon as possible. On the motion of the chairman It was resolved that the nags be flown dally at both schools during school hours, and that the co-operation of the headmaster be sought.
