A very successful open day was held at Lochiel on Sunday and although the rain early deterred a number of players from attending the surrounding clubs were fairly well represented. The following are the results of the various competitions:— A Grade.—36-hole gross, E. Ethridge; 36-hole net, N. A. Ross; Stableford, L. W. Brown; bogey handicap. A. H. Franks. B Grade.—36-hole gross, D. Hemi; 36-hole net, H. Fairhall; Stableford, C. Cowley; bogey handicap, J. Denz. The teams match was won by C. Sutcliffe, T. Lorimer, H. Fairhall and D. Moginie. Women’s Matches The senior Stableford bogey was won by Mrs P. Lee with 28 points. The junior was won by Mrs B. Bennett with 32 points. Playing for the Challenge Cups. Mrs L. Monteith and Mrs S. I.orimer were beaten by Miss Seccombe and Mrs Anchor. ST. ANDREWS CLUB RE-DRAW FOR JUNIORS Owing to one card in the Hamilton Golf Club’s junior championship being overlooked, the junior draw will be re-made, and will be available at the professional’s shop.
